It's a big big week here at InURface Makeup ! With the Makeup Show LA tomorrow, and The Oscar's and The Vanity Fair Party on Sunday yours truly, is running around like the proverbial headless chicken!  I was happy to host my good friend Steph of TheNewBeauty Review. com  for the week leading up to the shows. It was a whirlwind of makeup and stardust and glitter, and more glitter, as far as the eye could see!  Today I was fortunate enough to meet Jackie from Temptu who supplied me with the Air Pod system, which I L O V E!  I am very excited to use this on my Vanity Fair clients and tell you all about it. So, I was playing around with some of my footage, trying to teach myself how to edit, and I saved some footage of me on TLC network's CoverShot as the On Camera Beauty Expert. Now for those of you that have never seen the show, it's similar to Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, but closer to "mommy needs a makeover". It was such an amazing experience doing this show! At the end of each show, not only did our hero get a confidence boosting makeover, but she got to see herself on a giant billboard in Times Square ! My latest buzz kit was Burt's Bees Intense Hydration products. I received 3 full size products; Cream Cleanser, Treatment Mask, and Night Cream with Clary Sage, a remarkable botanical that thrives in its harsh environment because of its ability to retain moisture. With the colder months approaching, it's important for your skin to stay hydrated so I was excited to try these products. The Cream Cleanser ($10) is amazing ! After using a wash cloth to massage is in, I was surprised to see how it literally melted off my makeup! I decided to do a little experiment... The next time I washed my face I used my regular gel cleanser , I always thought it was doing a good enough job of getting my makeup off. Then I used the Burt's Bees cream cleanser after my gel cleanser and once again, a wash cloth full of makeup - gross! I couldn't believe it, not only was my other cleanser not removing my makeup, but it was stripping my skin of the natural oils it needs to stay lubr...
